Technically, can you ever go to court if you get arrested on every court date?
Remember the story of William Parminter, pulled over and arrested for DUI as he drove away from his fourth DUI hearing? Well, at least he started drinking after the hearing.
Sharry Long, on the other hand, had to get her buzz on so bad, she got tanked before getting in her car to drive to her DUI hearing. Driving left of center, Long nearly nailed a parked car before being flagged and pulled over by a deputy, who immediately noticed her slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and difficulty merely staying awake. As it turns out, she had not been drinking, but instead took a large volume of prescription medications.
She was originally arrested March 17th and arraigned on the 29th, when she plead not guilty. Her pre-trial hearing on April 27th was delayed (due to the second DUI arrest) until May 16th. [Source; Image]
