Drunk Sailor Forgets Wife Calls Coast Guard to Save Her

What do you do with a drunken sailor? If you’re his wife maybe wait for him on dock until he realizes you are gone.

Or in the case of this particular drunken sailor until he thinks you’ve fallen overboard and called the cops to report you’ve drowned.

That’s what happened off the south coast of Kalmar, Sweden. Except the wife didn’t willingly stay on dock. Her husband was so intoxicated he forgot to bring her aboard.

Once realizing his wife was no where on the boat, Mr. Drunken Sailor called the Swedish coast guard who realized the truth after investigation.

Towed back to shore Mr. Drunken Sailor was told the happy news and then arrested for boating while drunk.
