2D Glasses to downconvert 3D movies!

Some people love their 3D movies, I like them just fine most of the time as long as they’re not interactive. So far the only one that gave me a headache was Avatar. But I think it’s quite likely that Avatar, would’ve given me a headache even if all I had done, was read the script. However a lot of people complain of getting headaches when viewing 3D movies and why not? I mean, I can’t play first person shooters on my PC, let alone anything in 3D on the minuscule Nintendo 3DS without spontaneously combust whilst having seizures and generating DC current sparks.

But now there’s a solution for 3D intolerant people; De-3D Glasses.

They work by taking the picture meant to be seen by only one eye, and delivering it to both eyes, thus “flattening” the 3D effect.

The thing is though, that anyone can make their own, in theory, all you need to do is block out one of the two frames that are delivered to your eyes, so you could, simply request an extra pair of 3D glasses (or go with a 3D intolerant date), pop out the LEFT lens in one pair, and pop it into the RIGHT socket of the other pair, assuming both sides are symmetrical, voila! Free De-3D Glasses, if you’re really smart and have already figured out that you’ll get a SECOND pair if you pop that RIGHT lens into the LEFT socket of the first set, your date will also be able to keep that gargantuan portion of 18$ popcorn down.

9$ Paypal donations are accepted for the above tip, consider it a free two for one pair.
