Just what pet owners need; a bean diet for dogs

So just when you thought your Great Dane couldn’t get any more flatulent, Jennifer Quasha releases an article recommending that dog owners switch their obese pets to a bean diet. Apparently, and unsurprisingly, a lot of the pets that are owned by Americans, are fat, and although the situation might be less critical than that of their respective owners, someone decided it was time to deploy a vegetarian diet for dogs.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks it’s all a bit on the wonky side but then again, when have Americans last been not-wonky?

You see the thing about beans, is that they might will make you flatulent, and what exactly makes them think it would be any different for dogs? In fact beans make people so flatulent that there exists a medication to prevent flatulence, called Beano.

Mrs Quasha, pictured on her website getting facelicked by a Poodle, argues that if the dog doesn’t like beans, baby carrots should be tried. Well, could be worse, our Pug loves baby carrots, in fact she is so jealous of the Guinea Pig that she will eat anything we give the small rodent, including lettuce, carrots and blueberries.
