Lada, a Rottweiller owned by Olga, a Russian woman, spent at least one night guarding Olga’s “forgotten baby” Vadim in a Saratov park in Russia. Olga claims she went to the park with her baby and her dog, started drinking, got quite drunk and returned home forgetting both the baby and the dog.
The next morning, Olga’s father went to the park and found the dog huddled with the baby boy. The baby was found wet and hungry but otherwise safe, having been guarded by the Rottweiller.
“It just happened so that night,” Olga later confessed, as quoted by Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper. The baby is now with Olga’s mother, while authorities decide what, if any, disciplinary actions whould be taken against Olga, 22 years old.
I call for shooting her out of a cannon, no helmet, no net.
