It would’ve been just another lazy Sunday morning for a Sacramento Bee courier had she not parked a little too close to some trigger-happy pot growers.
As the van was leaving a delivery location in Sacramento, it was struck nine times. Deputies met with the delivery woman who identified the general direction from which the shots came, and police later arrested Anthony Collins and Richard Anderson. The two were found with motion sensor lights, shooting targets, handguns, rifles, and between twenty and thirty marijuana plants whose possession is of questionable legality.
Evidently, Collins was the shooter, charged with firing on an occupied vehicle and unlawful possession of firearms as an ex-felon. Anderson got off with violation of probation, though if the plants come up without a proper license, the pair could also see felony drug charges as well. [Source; Image]
