Here’s how you ruin a child – or rather introduce your toddler to a life a crime.

Step 1: steal a car
Step 2: drive your toddler around in it
Step 3: when cops chase you leave your child in car and run
Step 4: make sure toddler has access to a gun to pull on said cops.

That’s what 23-year old Terrence Myers of North Charleston, South Carolina did.

Police went after the stolen car after running the Utah plates proved it was stolen. Myers abandoned the car and took flight by foot, jumping a fence while trying to escape authorities. Obviously his 3-year old son would slow him down so he did what any dead beat dad would do and left him there.

When police approached the car they got an unexpected surprise when the toddler pointed a gun at them and said, “Gun, gun.”

Thankfully it was easy to disarm the child and it turned out the gun was of the BB kind.

Myers was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a stolen vehicle, and unlawful neglect of a child.

It gets better.

While getting chased by the cops, Myers called his son’s mother and asked her to pick him up. Who shows up at the scene? Two women, not the baby momma, who said the mother sent them to get the boy.

Police are smart and told them to tell the mother to get her butt down for questioning.

Hopefully this young child is able to find a better place to be than with parents who don’t care much for his welfare. Otherwise he’s likely to head down the same path as his father – who at 23 has a rap sheet as long as his arm. [Source]
