Sure we all like to get a bit extra when we order food from a restaurant, a little more bang for our buck, but that being said, I doubt very much that little bit extra refers to a real live frog, because that would be just gross.
Ross Dance was dining at Nandos in Central London, and had the unfortunate experience of biting into the chicken wrap he ordered and pulling out a live frog with his teeth. To make matters worse Dance thinks he may have accidentally eaten one of the frogs limbs, since most amphibians of this type have four limbs, and this poor little creature had three.
So tell us Ross, did it taste like chicken, like everyone says it does?
“I bit into the wrap, but couldn’t chew through it. I excused myself and got it out of my mouth.
“There was a whole frog there. It was still alive. I felt really ill.”
“I don’t understand how anyone can put a wrap together and not see a frog. I’m livid. I won’t eat at Nando’s again.”
We’ll take that as a no.
The restaurant gave Dance a refund and are looking into the matter. The frog, on the other hand, commented that while the food was just alright, the atmosphere was fantastic, until he was tossed in a wrap and nearly eaten by a customer.
Pfft…everyone’s a critic.
