French clothing company La Redoute has apologized on its facebook page for publishing a campaign photo featuring some children frolicking at the beach, and a nude man, frolicking in the background. The photo has been removed from the website, but like potentially everything on the web, it has gone viral and is being reposted across the web on sites such as We Interrupt.
Also, some memes have appeared featuring French president Nicolas Sarkozy, Aliens, and even dark lord of the sith, Darth Vader.
What made the advert so funny though, is that the website where the photo was initially published, features a magnifying glass effect to “inspect details in the clothing” and that could be used to very clearly enlarge the man’s penis, thus giving credibility to 70% of the emails in my inbox.
