Elevators can feel like double-wide coffins at the best of times. On a normal day they get you where you want to go but that ominous warning: “Do not use elevator in case of fire” is always there, putting you on edge.
Anyway, they beat the stairs, 99.9999% of the time. The other 0.0001% you might find yourself trapped in one because of a blackout, falling to your death because the cable snapped, or – as is the case in this video – becoming the victim of a Brazilian television station’s cruel sense of humor.
