7 year old is suspended from school for throwing an imaginary grenade

Alex Evans, a 7 year old second grade student at the Mary Blair Elementary School in Colorado was suspended for pretending to throw a grenade into a box and making explosion sounds with his mouth. He called the game “Rescue the world.”

This occurs only a few weeks after another grade school student, a 5 year old kindergartener this time, was suspended for threatening a classmate with a pink Hello Kitty soap bubble gun. Anyone who has ever seen the movie Real Men (1987) with Jim Belushi and the much regretted John Ritter, will know how lethal a “finger gun” can be. If not, just watch the whole movie which is available for free on YouTube.
