A company called Breathable Foods has begun marketing an inhalable caffeine shot called Aeroshot with the tagline: “Pull open, puff into mouth, push closed.” However the FDA is going to investigate the product to make sure it is not only safe and legal, but also that it does in fact perform as described.
The product, which is already being sold for approximately $3 in New York state, Massachusetts and oddly, France, is said to contain B complex vitamins as well as 100mg of caffeine. Concerns are being issued over the possible mix between a few Aeroshot hits, and any alcohol mix, which could lead to behaviour similar to that of professional hockey players.
Breathable Foods have already issued a statement to the effect that the product is not marketed nor sold to minors under 18 years of age. Not even at outdoor rock festivals.
