Police Subdue Baptist Pastor With Tasers and Beating
Baptist Pastor Steven Anderson was repeatedly shot with a taser and savagely beaten by Border Patrol officers, one of whom used nunchakus, for refusing to consent to a search after a K-9 unit “indicated” that there were drugs or people in his vehicle. He was 50 miles from the border driving from west to east. After beating and arresting Anderson they searched his vehicle to find nothing but tools.

Outcome: Anderson was charged with blocking a public highway and failing to obey an officer’s orders directing traffic.
