Paint fails to save Wyoming man from righteous tasing

According to police sources a 34-year-old Wyoming man tried to cover himself with paint to in a bid to avoid being tased… Unfortunately for him, it didn’t work.

Cheyenne police say that on September 16 they responded to a domestic violence report at the home of Brian Mattert. When they arrived, they found the suspect covering himself with white latex paint in a back room.

The police report says that he then explained why:

You see all this water-based paint? You shoot me with that and you’ll kill me.

Police officers reportedly told Mattert that his paint would not affect the efficacy of their Tasers. He is said to have remained unconvinced. He was Tased in his backyard as he tried to escape and charged with domestic violence, assault and battery, interference with a peace officer and aggravated assault on a peace officer. [UPI]
