With the advent of the Internet it has become even more obvious that if something exists, there will be someone to love it, and someone else entirely, to hate it. This has evidently become deadly for a 42 year old Latvian man, who loved eating his popcorn during a screening of Black Swan, as he was shot and killed by a 27 year old, gun wielding man who hated the noise he made.
This wasn’t even a screening of the good sketch version of Black Swan, starring Jim Carrey. They were showing the real, somewhat boring movie about ballet dancers and the passions and mental illnesses that surround them.
Incidentally, any boring old movie about the passion for ballet and mental illness will spell O-S-C-A-R, meanwhile classic films like Zombieland and Serenity are completely ignored.
This brings me to our “We Interrupt to give you a tip” of the week; Guys, if you’re going to use firearms to fight, you must make it over something interesting, like a woman’s heart, your favorite hockey team or whether or not the Lancer Evo race against the downhill skiers was fake. But please, if you’re fighting over something completely trivial like ballet, politics or religion, stick to Nerf guns.
