College Paper Goes Topless For Story on Exotic Dancers

When the powers that be told a Philadelphia college newspaper they couldn’t lead with the story they wanted to they went topless.

As in the top half of the first page of the Collegian was blank last Thursday, with the simple words, “See below the fold.”

The story was about a professor at the Roman Catholic university who is accused of using exotic dancers in a business seminar. Officials at the school tried to force the newspaper to bury the story inside the paper.

Just goes to show you can’t hide the truth from smarty-pants journalist types. They’ll always find a way to get the story out. Even if it means going topless. [CBS]
