Yasuteru Yamada proposes that the elders take over the radioactive cleanup and his arguments are absolutely in-discussable. The 72 year old retiree is recruiting other elders based on the premise that, on average, they have at most 12-15 years left to live, and it would be difficult to catch, and develop cancer within that time frame.
Cold, close examination of the situation is clear; he is right. It may sound abominable and incredibly cruel, but like it or not, it’s a good idea. So far m.Tamada has managed to recruit approximately 200 retired workers from very different fields, engineers, cooks and even musicians.
The Japanese, have long been thought to be culturally honorable, this only proves how much. As an external observer, I can only offer my written support, well wishes, and of course, respect.
