When a loved one is feeling suicidal, murderous, talking nonsense, sleeps all day and rejects Jesus, they either just got done watching The Zookeeper or are in dire need of an exorcism. But today, the demand for exorcisms is enormous while the supply of trained spiritual warriors is lacking. So who will step up to save mankind from spiritual damnation?
Perhaps the more important question is this: What can our youth do to help?
According to Savannah Scherkenback, graduate of Reverend Bob Larsen’s exorcist school,
I think Harry Potter and Twilight are instigators of evil. They nullify morality and just serve to hook people in with evil. I don’t watch any television at all. I’m much too busy praying and fighting the devil.
Larsen’s five-girl team travels worldwide, primarily through the United States and South America, to deliver the possessed from evil. Larsen’s own daughter, Brynne (pictured) is part of the squad, and has been performing exorcisms since she was thirteen. Another member, the aforementioned Savannah, had been exorcised herself at eighteen before joining the group.
