Martin Kessman is big, and he has every right to be. But at 290 pounds, he reportedly cannot fit into a booth at his local White Castle fast-food restaurant.
So he’s suing them to make the booths bigger and for ‘unspecified damages.’
Two and a half years earlier, Kessman complained to the management of his plight. The booths were perhaps wide enough to accommodate a 250 pound man, or a Mazda Miata, but not quite enough for Kessman. Thus, under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Kessman believes that his right to sit and eat a six-pack of burgers is within reason and has been violated.
On the bright side, he’s still willing to give White Castle the blessing of his business. And what has he been doing for the two and a half years since he first noticed the problem with booths? Sitting at a table, perhaps? [Source; Images]
