The professional hotel bed tester has insured her buttock (aka. rear end) for four million pounds – roughly 6.5million dollars.
She works for Premiere Inn chain of hotels and spends up to eight hours a day bouncing on beds so for her the truth is in the touch. There’s 46,000 beds the 39-year old from Bedfordshire, England has to test with her team of bed bouncers… and yes, her title really is “Director of Bed Bouncing.”
Thomas says it takes about 20 minutes to fully bounce around a bed looking for imperfections, bumps, rips, tears and stains.
“The quality of beds is hugely important and is something Premier Inn pride ourselves on. I absolutely love my job and really can’t imagine doing anything else now.” she says.
