Wei-yih Chen of Taipei, Taiwan grew tired of her bachelorette status. At thirty years old, she finally decided to tie the knot.
But Chen apparently overlooked the whole bride-and-groom thing and went on ahead with a wedding ceremony consisting of herself, her friends and family, and booked a honeymoon for one in Australia. She even hired a wedding planner and rented out a banquet hall.
The bad news is that (not surprisingly) she cannot officially register a marriage to herself; the good news is, if things don’t turn out well, there’s no messy divorce, no prenuptials, no kids to split up and no worries about infidelity. I think, at least. [Source; Image]
