Condom manufacturer Trojan organized a promotional giveaway of vibrators yesterday in New York City. Several hot-tog type kiosks were setup where people could pick up a free vibrator along with a free sample of condoms.
Sadly for everyone involved though, city officials had to shut down the kiosks because they couldn’t control the crowd. Trojan had 10,000 vibrators on hand to give away and over 300 persons were in line at each of the kiosks, making crowd control a bit of an issue. Melody Henry, who was in line at the time commented that Mayor Bloomberg doesn’t want anyone to have any fun in New York.
Although it might seem like a good idea to pick up a free vibrator from a downtown kiosk, it’s not like carrying a free sample of green tea flavored Mentos back to the office. Picture it, walking proudly with your gratuitous purple vibrator in hand…
