Man Looses Life Savings At Carnival Game Trying To Win XBox Kinetic

Think gambling addiction happens only at the casino? Think again.

A New Hampshire man has lost his life savings trying to win an XBox Kinetic playing Tubs of Fun at a local fair.

“You’re expecting the kids to win a few things, let the kids have a good time,” Gribbohm told media. “It just didn’t turn out that way.”

Henry Gribbohm thought the game at the Fiesta Shows carnival in Manchester would be easy as pie to beat since during the practice round he aced it.  But of course playing the real game for real prizes was a much different story. Balls kept popping out and Gribbhom kept doling out more cash to play.

“It’s not possible that it wasn’t rigged,” he said.

His $300 was gone in minutes so he ran home and got the remaining money he had $2,300 in a vicious attempt to win his money back.

According to the 30-year old, “You just get caught up in the whole ‘I’ve got to win my money back.’”

What he won was a giant stuffed banana with dreads.

There is definitely some truth to the words better to quit while you’re ahead.  [ Source ]  [ Picture ]
