The unidentified man ran off onto the baseball pitch during Saturday’s game, which the Braves lost 5-2 against the Washington Nationals. The home crowd of just over 40.000 spectators cheered him on and some reports suggest that the crowd booed the arresting officers as they walked off the field with the bride, in handcuffs. I suppose the honeymoon started early.
Visible on the photos are the knee-grass stains left on the white gown, when the officers tackled the man. It remains to be seen who will be footing the cleaning bill.
